Steam released his latest study on the materialand we see once again that Nvidia dominates AMD in the GPU section. The top 10 graphics cards are all from Nvidia, with the RTX 3060 desktop holds a 5.71% share, but it saw a decline of 1.21% from March’s 6.92% share. The second most popular card is the GTX 1650 the deskwhich currently holds 4.32% of the shares, an increase of 0.25% compared to the last survey.

When it comes to the most popular laptop GPU, the RTX 3060 also reigns in this case, with growth of 0.39% compared to 3.06% in March. The second most popular laptop graphics card is the RTX 4060which has also seen growth and currently holds a 2.86% share. As for AMD, it is still struggling to gain popularity.

Indeed, no AMD GPU made it into the top 10, and only one secured a place in the top 20. The Steam survey indicates that it is an unspecified Radeon Graphics, which suggests it’s probably an iGPU. Its market share is currently 2.03%, an increase of 0.05% from the last report.

Of course, if you consider the graphics cards that saw growth in April, the AMD RX 6750 GRE entered the top 10 GPUs in the latest Steam survey. It is in 8th place, with the Nvidia RTX 4060 laptop having seen the strongest growth during this period (Acer Nitro 16 with RTX 4060 currently at $999.99 at Amazon).
