The incident that caused the conflict between Synatsakis and Psinakis
In 2022, Ilias Psinakis was – initially as a guest and then as a permanent member – on the X-Factor jury. At that time, the backstage of the show was presented by Katerina Lioliou with Ilias Bogdanos. In one of the live shows, Elias Psinakis was backstage and “just for fun” he turned Katerina Lioliou’s back to the camera and pretended to take down her bra.
This move of the manager was then commented on social media and beyond. One of the people who had taken a stand against this was Mary Synatsakis, who has proven that she is particularly sensitive to such issues.

On Sunday morning (28/4), Mary Synatsaki responded through a story on her personal Instagram account, emphasizing that Elias Psinaki’s behavior towards Katerina Lioliou was sexist and that if he only wanted to sell her clothes, he would not have spoken even.

“Regarding yesterday’s “show”. There are two things that are both equally obvious: One is the behavior of Mr. Psinakis towards Ms. Lioliou. This is something anyone can see by just googling, Psinaki-Lioliou. The pre-arrangement excuse – if there was one – does not invalidate the act. A man opens a woman’s bust, then turns her around and takes it down in public, all on a prime-time music television program. My comment about sexism and gestures I guess is obvious. The second is the influence of Mr. Psinakis on Lifestyle issues for many years. So I think that if you are interested in selling your underwear, you need his good word and not his dislike. It’s obvious that if my target was my underwear I should have kept quiet.”

Katerina Lioliou responded to Hlias Psinakis about what the manager said in the episode of J2US, regarding the old incident where he had pulled down her clothes to show her breasts in the X-Factor. Hlias Psinakis said that for his move then, he had first agreed with the singer.
However, in today’s post on Instagram, Katerina Lioliou made it clear that there was no agreement between them at the time, to proceed with such an indecent move and she is reserved for his behavior.
Katerina Lioliou characteristically wrote: “I was surprised to learn that in the framework of the J2US show, an issue that concerns me and which I thought had ended came back. So I remind you that two years ago Mr. Psinakis behaved indecently against my face and dignity with actions which I did not follow up by accepting his subsequent appeals and apology.
