The Cuban animalist Yenney Caballero walked several kilometers under the sun to rescue a dog she had given up for adoption, and who apparently was not receiving the necessary care.

Through her social networks, the young Cuban indicated that “no dog that passes through my hands has this sad end,” since, apparently, Yanko, a canine that she had given up for adoption, had been designated as “custodian of a farm.” ”, and did not receive the required attention.

In that sense, the animal activist made the decision to go to rescue the dog, and thus prevent it from continuing to be subjected to those terrible conditions, claiming that she always monitors the animals she gives up for adoption.

“When I give them up for adoption, I follow up, I wanted to see the face of that man who said that he would not return the dog or sell it,” he specified in a post on Facebook.

Caballero added that he bought Yanko with the help of many of his followers, so he would not allow him to live in deplorable conditions.

“The one who bought this dog was me with the help of many of you, for some reason I made an adoption form for her, luckily she didn’t resist when I told her I’m taking the dog, she was willing to do anything. There in those terrible conditions he would not stay,” he added.

The young Cuban animal activist said she felt satisfied for rescuing the dog, even though she walked several kilometers under the sun and got covered in mud. “Yanko is safe, secure and happy,” she said.

Meanwhile, Yenney’s followers applauded her for this action of protecting animals that are subjected to living in precarious conditions, without receiving adequate care.
