Request not to pay a fine to businesses with a scheduled appointment for interfacing cash registers with POS

Letter to the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis sent by the president of EBEA, Sophia Kounenakipointing out the necessity of not imposing fines on businesses that already have an appointment scheduled for the interconnection of their cash systems with the POS, transferring the request of the businesses – members of the Chamber.

In particular, Mrs. Efraimoglou in her letter referred to the difficulties that arise in the case of businesses that are active in the provision of computer application services, due to the numerous problems, such as the non-updated software of POS services, their upgrades, etc., but also of significant delays arising during the installation process.
