“You’re in the four walls and you’re fighting your demons.”
Gianna Terzi sat on the sofa of Studio 4 on the afternoon of Holy Tuesday and in a torrential interview she talked about everything.
The singer shocked with the description of the health problem she faced even though three years have passed since the serious surgery she did on the spinal cord.
“I was in a wheelchair for a few months. It was a tumor in the spinal cord and it is very rare if it is successfully removed that it does not leave you with some neurological problem.
I could have been confined to a wheelchair or have some serious neurological problem.
When the doctor told me on the phone, I thought I was going to have a stroke. My father found out after everything had gone well, months after the operation.
The operation lasted 11 hours and I hid the date from my parents. The one who accompanied me was my brother”, confessed Gianna Terzi and continued:
“Most difficult of all was the rehabilitation. I was preparing myself for life in a wheelchair. I got to know my body again from the beginning, I walked again from the beginning, I did everything from the beginning.”
“You’re in the four walls and you’re fighting your demons. At some point, my body was so uncontrollable from pain and from movements that…”, said excited Gianna Terzi.
