San Salvador. The pedophile Carlos Fredy Rosa Meléndez was sentenced to 61 years in prison for sexually abusing minors and documenting in videos the abuse to which he subjected them, announced the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic.
The tax investigations demonstrated before the relevant court that Rosa Meléndez raped two minors between 2020 and 2022, in a place that the FGR reserved so as not to stigmatize the victims and their family.
The FGR investigated the pedophile for four crimes of a sexual nature and each of these was proven and for each he received various sentences totaling more than six decades.
The crimes in question are Rape of a minor and incapable in its continuous form, to the detriment of two minors; Sexual assault on a minor and incapable in its continued form to the detriment of the same victims; Use of boys, girls, adolescents or people with disabilities in pornography through the use of information and communication technologies; and Acquisition or possession of pornographic material of boys, girls, adolescents or people with disabilities through the use of information and communication technologies.
