(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 03 – Slight increase in cases and positivity rate and deaths have also increased in a week.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Health’s Covid bulletin for the week 25 April – 1 May 2024.
In particular, 618 new positive cases were recorded with a variation of +17.0% compared to the previous week (n: 528). There were 9 deaths with a variation of +28.6% compared to the previous week (n: 7). 76,553 swabs were carried out with a variation of -23.9% compared to the previous week (n: 100,622). The positivity rate is 0.8% with a variation of +0.3% compared to the previous week (0.5%).
Hospital ward occupancy stable. The employment rate in the medical area as of 05/01/2024 is equal to 0.9% (542 hospitalized), compared to 0.9% (570 hospitalized) on 04/24/2024.
The occupancy rate in intensive care as of 05/01/2024 is instead equal to 0.2% (18 hospitalized), compared to 0.2% (19 hospitalized) on 04/24/2024. (HANDLE).
