On Friday the next celebrity had to hang up his dancing shoes. But the decision did not turn out as expected.
Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, who was eliminated last week, and her dance partner Valentin Lusin were given a new chance – which they took advantage of. Despite the short preparation time, they put in a solid performance and earned praise from the jury. “I’ve never seen you so free,” enthused Motsi Mabuse. Even the otherwise critical Joachim Llambi thought: “That was great!”
“Let’s Dance”: Lulu Lewe and Massimo Sinató are out
And the travel influencer was also able to convince the audience this time – because she was not eliminated again at the end of the show. Lulu Lewe and Massimo Sinató received the fewest calls, so “Let’s Dance” is over for them.
The decision may have been a big surprise for many fans of the show, because Lulu – in contrast to Ann-Kathrin – had always received good ratings from the jury and was even considered the favorite to win at one point. This time too, with 24, she got three points more than the returnee. But in the end, the audience decides who progresses. You can read here why Sarah Connor’s sister was ridiculed for her performance.
Now there are five stars left in the running: Gabriel Kelly, Mark Keller, Detlef D! Soost, Jana Wosnitza and Ann-Kathrin Bendixen will compete against each other again next week. Who will be “Dancing Star 2024” will be decided on May 24th. Then last year’s winner Anna Ermakova’s trophy goes to the next celebrity.
