The record 2,200 high school graduates are sending Burgas to the festive May 24. On that day, all the police will be on their toes so that there are no incidents at the balls.
This year’s high school graduates are at most for the last 6-7 years,

The data were presented at a meeting in the Burgas municipality building with representatives of the municipal administration, the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Traffic Police, where measures to ensure safe balls were discussed.
20 Burgas schools have chosen to send their seniors on May 24. The exceptions are “Konstantin Petkanov” High School, whose graduates will celebrate on May 13 in the school yard, and the IT school, which will send its high school students on May 26 to the “Morsko Casino” center.
The largest number of graduates – 180, are from the Professional High School for Tourism “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”, followed by the High School for Romance Languages ”Georgi S. Rakovski” with 179 graduates and the Professional High School for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, which sends 165 its graduates.
And this year, the scheme with the places and times of gathering of parents and students to send off the graduates has been made in such a way that a large gathering of people in one place is not allowed, and that there is no increased road traffic to the places where the balls are held , stated the OD of the Ministry of the Interior.
Traffic police will regulate the convoys of cars to Sunny Beach,
where, by tradition, high school graduates from Burgas and the region celebrate en masse.
The route has also been determined: “Demokratia” Blvd. – “Stefan Stambolov” – “Metro” exit – the new northern bypass – Sunny Beach. The police warn that throughout the day there will be an increased police presence along the routes and around the pick-up and drop-off points with camera patrols and civilian cars with video recorders.
“All violators of the road will be penalized, as they will be checked for risky driving, alcohol and drug use and other violations,” explained the head of the Security Police and traffic police commissioner Marin Dimitrov.
The seniors from the German, Mathematical, and English high schools, SU “Ivan Vazov”, Vocational High School of Mechanoelectrical Engineering and Electronics, SU “Episkop Konstantin Preslavski”, Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics “Konstantin” chose to travel by bus instead of shiny cars to Sunny Beach Fotinov” and the Commercial High School.
In Burgas, only the graduates of “Dobri Chintulov” University, “Petko Rosen” University and the Professional High School of Transport will celebrate.
