(Shah Rukh Shah) National Airline (PIA) has announced its Hajj operation, PIA pre-Hajj operation will start from May 9, 2024 which will continue till June 10.
According to the preliminary plan, PIA will transport about 34,000 Hajj pilgrims to the Holy Hijaz through 170 flights, 19,000 government Hajj scheme and 15,000 private pilgrims will travel through PIA. IA will operate direct flights from 8 cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Quetta, Sialkot and Sukkur to Jeddah and Madinah.
PIA spokesman said that in addition, this year the Road to Makkah project will be available at Islamabad and Karachi airports. Through Tariq Makkah or Road to Makkah, the pilgrims will do their Saudi immigration in Pakistan, from Jeddah or Madinah. I will save from long queues for immigration.
According to the spokesman, PIA has also issued a guideline for the awareness of the pilgrims, which includes detailed instructions on the Nasik application and other necessary instructions. Timely information should be available. The spokesperson requested all the pilgrims to pray for the security and development of Pakistan while performing the Hajj rituals.
