Co-organized by the Fès-Meknes Regional Investment Center and Tamwilcom, this meeting was an opportunity for companies in the Fès-Meknes region to promote their products and services and strengthen their networks through the creation of new partnerships.
On the program for this day, networking and “speed networking” sessions, training sessions, with interactive workshops on the new features of the 2024 finance law and the electronic submission of projects.
Speaking on this occasion, the Head of the Economic Impulse and Territorial Offer Pole at the CRI, Amjad Kiti, indicated that “this meeting illustrates the importance given by regional and central actors to the impetus of the private sector in accordance with the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI who has set clear objectives to get private investments off the ground.”
The objective, recalled Mr. Kiti, is to mobilize 550 billion dirhams in investments and create 500,000 jobs by 2026.
Referring to the entrepreneurial dynamics of the Fès-Meknes Region, the head of the CRI indicated that 96% of companies in the region are Very Small, Small or Medium Enterprises (SMEs), noting that this type of company contributes up to 64.4% in the turnover generated at the regional level.
For his part, the director of the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) for the Fez-Meknes Region, Mohamed Chhiba, affirmed that this event, organized with regional partners, aims to instill a new dynamics for entrepreneurs benefiting from the “Intelak” program and create a space for exchange and networking between businesses and all stakeholders, such as banks.
“The most difficult thing is no longer to create a business, but to sustain it,” he remarked in a statement to the press, noting that this type of meeting allows small businesses to benefit from the experience and know-how of large, well-established companies.
This networking meeting is organized with partners of the Integrated Business Support and Financing Program (PIAFE), including the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion ( OFPPT), Bank Al Maghrib and ANAPEC.
