Sinner misses Internazionali d’Italia 2024, still suffering from hip problems – SulPanaro

(Adnkronos) – Jannik Sinner skips the 2024 Internazionali d’Italia, scheduled at the Foro Italico in Rome from 6 to 19 May. The Italian, number 2 in the world, withdraws from the tournament due to the hip problem that forced him to withdraw before the quarter-finals of the Masters 1000 in Madrid. “It is not easy to write this message but after speaking again with the doctors and specialists about my hip problems I have to announce that unfortunately I will not be able to play in Rome”, writes the 22-year-old from South Tyrol on social media. After withdrawing from the Madrid tournament, Sinner underwent tests which ruled out any significant problems.
