The scene of Got Talent Chile shined with the energy and talent of Axel Dardónand young Guatemalan dancer, only 11 years old. Her presentation took place on May 2 and was accompanied by the presence of her father, Mauricio Dardón, and her teacher José Alvarado, at the backstage.

From the moment the dancer set foot on stage, his young age surprised the judges. In a brief capsule that was shown prior to his presentation, the Guatemalan commented how he had started in the world of dance. Furthermore, demonstrating confidence in his talent and preparation, he expressed: «I want the jury to be happy with my dance and the public too. “I feel like I’m going to win.”

His performance began with a lot of energy, infecting the jury and taking over the stage with every movement and expression of charisma that revealed his passion for salsa and his love for dancing. At the end of her choreography, the judge Diana Bolocco He praised the Guatemalan: “You gave us a wonderful show.” He highlighted how Axel’s face and grace in his movements evidenced his training in a dance studio. «You don’t need a partner to show off; you use the entire stage, you accompany it with your face, with your whole body, your feet […] “I loved your show,” he added.

Francisco Reyes, another of the judges, asked how he had started dancing, to which the young man responded that at the age of three, imitating Michael Jackson’s dance steps. At that moment the King of Pop’s music began to be heard and the Guatemalan performed some of his iconic steps.

In this competition, each contestant needs at least three “yeses” to advance to the next round, and Axel got the approval of all four judges. What a chilero!
