British scientists have identified people who, from birth, have better reactions than others. This was reported by PC Gamer, Day.Az reports with reference to Lenta.ru.

Journalists from specialized media referred to a study published in the journal Plos One. In it, scientists from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) said that some people can distinguish and react to objects earlier than others. According to experts, such people have unique abilities from birth.

The authors of PC Gamer called these people “natural gamers” because their abilities can be in demand in video games – they can see more frames per second. The study states that participants were placed between participants with a flickering light source and asked to count how often the bulb lit up. Some people have described the source as a constant beam flickering 35 times per second. Others noticed that the light flickered 60 times per second or more.

Experts conducted several tests and found that subjects who could perceive the flickering of light at a faster rate were able to do so repeatedly. That is, their quick reaction was not accidental. Scientists have noticed that, despite innate characteristics, the ability to quickly respond to flickering light can be trained.
