The traffic is intense at the border checkpoint (BCP) “Kardam” on the border with Romania at the exit for trucks, the Main Directorate of the Border Police announced, based on data from 6:00 this morning.
Romanian border authorities will not allow trucks over 7.5 tons through the Durankulak/Vama Veke border crossing during the holidays – on April 30, May 2 and 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; on 1, 3, 5 and May 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. Only cars and minibuses can pass through “Makaza”, “Zlatograd” and “Ivaylovgrad”.
Traffic is also normal at all border checkpoints on the border with Serbia. At the “Kalotina” border crossing, construction and installation activities are being carried out in connection with a contract for reconstruction and modernization. The activities require a temporary narrowing of the road lanes and a reorganization of the movement of passing vehicles. During the holidays, those traveling by car should take into account that the temporary organization of traffic before and in the area of the border point may extend the crossing time.
