FC Red Bull Salzburg are somewhat surprisingly appearing without Oumar Solet in the important Bundesliga away game at SK Rapid (NOW in the LIVE ticker >>>).
The Frenchman, who actually plays a regular role in Mozartstadt’s central defense, does not appear in the squad, but is explicitly not listed among the injured players.
So how can Solet not play in such an important game, Onur Cinel? “During the week you have time to put together your squad. Factors such as training performance but also the match plan are decisive,” explains the “Bulls” coach on “Sky”.

So it could be that the decision against Solet was made because of the Frenchman’s possible indiscipline, Sky reporter Michael Ganhör wants to know from the German.
“The training week was crucial, but of course all other factors also play a role. Also the values that you mentioned,” Cinel confirms between the lines that he may not be too happy with the central defender’s attitude.
Solet is considered a hot candidate for a move next summer. In the spring, the 24-year-old’s performance fluctuated again and again.
Alexander Schlager is also not in action against Rapid. The ÖFB team goalkeeper injured his knee during the warm-up and cannot play. Timo Horn is making his Salzburg debut for him.
