Awami League Joint General Secretary and Member of Parliament for Dhaka-8 Constituency Agriculture AFM Bahauddin Nashim said that those who cannot love the country, cannot see the development of the country, cannot keep pace with the development of the country, they cannot be patriotic anyway. They can’t tell good from good. They have always tried to create black chapters. Due to these misdeeds, BNP-Jamaat is now on the verge of destruction. The people of the country rejected them.

Nashim said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the exchange meeting of Krishibid Institute Australia branch in Ingleburn, Sydney, Australia on Saturday (May 4) evening.

Nashim said that the group called BNP-Jamaat always spread false propaganda about the country. They say Bangladesh is going bankrupt, the existence of Bangladesh will be endangered, there has been no development in the country, Bangladesh is still backward, Pakistan era was good, we want to go back to Pakistan. They say many such things. But the reality is that the Bengali nation is now very aware. The people of the country do not believe their rumors anymore. They deny the development of the country.

Nashim also said, we have to work for the people. The interests of the country, the interests of the people are the greatest interests. We all love our motherland. We want to live in peace with everyone. We do not want even one of our people to die without food or treatment. We wouldn’t say our medical system has improved much, but there have been changes. We stand by the people in all the hardships of the country. We have been able to overcome all obstacles because we have a leader who has never bowed down to any evil force.

Nashim said, today Bangladesh has progressed a long way. Bangladesh has turned around today under the leadership of country ratna Sheikh Hasina, the privileged daughter of the father of the nation. The hero of this transformation is national treasure Sheikh Hasina. There is no denying that Bangladesh has made great progress in all areas. Bangladesh today is facing all the problems and moving forward under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter. Corona epidemic, war between Ukraine and Russia, genocide in Ganja valley, tension between Israel and Iran, these global problems have also affected our country. We have been able to overcome many of its effects. Bangladesh is almost self-sufficient in food today. In such a small country producing food for 18 crore people, it would never have been possible if there had been no development in the agricultural sector and this development in the agricultural sector would have never been possible if not for the special vision of Bangabandhu’s daughter. For this, the entire nation gratefully appreciates Sheikh Hasina’s leadership.

Addressing the present agriculturists, Nashim said that you are representing Bangladesh in Australia. You are showing the education, literature and culture of our country. You are increasing the honor of Bangladesh through your talent and activity. The people of the country have respect, reverence and gratitude towards you. It is true that expatriate remittances from different countries strengthen our economy. A country cannot progress with remittances alone. Education, knowledge, culture need to be highlighted to advance in the world meeting. No one else can do the role you play in that place. This is a matter of pride for our agriculturists.

In the second part of the program, Bahauddin Nashim participated in the question and answer session. At that time, Australian expatriates asked questions about money laundering from Bangladesh, establishing voting rights of Bangladeshi citizens living in Australia and business and capital exchange from Australia to Bangladesh. At this time Nashim responded to every question and said that if he gets all the problems faced by the citizens living in Australia, he will try his best to submit them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and take appropriate measures.

Agriculturists, journalists, businessmen, politicians and people from various professions of Australia were present in the program under the chairmanship of Krishivid Abdus Sadek, President of Krishivid Institute Australia Branch and moderated by General Secretary Parmesh Bhattacharya.
