jpnn.comJAKARTA – AKSARA Research and Consulting held a survey “Public Political Perceptions of the 2024 Pekanbaru City Election” on April 20-30 2024.
This survey involved 400 respondents distributed proportionally across 15 sub-districts and selected using the multistage random sampling method with a Margin of Error of 4.9 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
In the survey, it was reported that the performance of the current Acting Mayor of Pekanbaru, Muflihun, was considered better than that of the previous era of Pekanbaru City Government, Firdaus and Ayat Cahyadi.
Executive Director of AKSARA Research Hendri Kurniawan said that this performance was reflected in the community’s satisfaction with the city government’s performance.
According to Hendri, the satisfaction score with the performance of the Acting Mayor of Pekanbaru reached 42.3 percent with details of very satisfied 0.5 percent, satisfied 41.8 percent, dissatisfied 36.5 percent dissatisfied 13.3 percent and did not answer 8 percent.
Meanwhile, public satisfaction with the performance of the Firdaus-Verse Cahyadi era only reached 25.3 percent, with details of 1 percent very satisfied, 24.3 percent satisfied, 49.2 percent dissatisfied, 17.3 percent dissatisfied and 8.2 percent did not answer. .
“The performance of the Pekanbaru City Government in the past two years is considered better than the previous 10 years,” said Hendri in a written statement, Sunday (5/5/2024).
Hendri revealed that several sectors that were considered optimal were related to public services 15 percent, infrastructure 11.4 percent basic needs 8.8 percent and transportation 7.8 percent.
The issue of unemployment or job availability is a serious problem that must be resolved immediately by the Pekanbaru City Government.
