Neighbors allege that they have lost their night’s sleep and day’s peace because of the God of Cricket. Displeasure has also been expressed on social media. Actually, a post of an ex-user named Dilip D’Souza is going viral on social media. It has been said in this post that construction work is going on in Sachin’s house. During this time a very loud noise was coming. The post said that construction work was still going on around 9 pm. The neighbors were angry with Sachin Tendulkar regarding this matter.
‘Dear Sachin Tendulkar, it is now around 9 o’clock at night and the cement mixer which has been making loud noises all day long outside your Bandra house is still there, still making loud noises. Please can you ask the people working at your house to follow the correct timings? thank you so much.’ This is the post which was posted from the X account of a user named Dilip D’Souza.
However, shortly after this, a follow-up post on the whole matter was also shared from Dilip D’Souza’s account, in which it was written that he received a call from Sachin Tendulkar’s office. It was told on that call that efforts would be made to ensure minimum noise during construction work.
After this post, people on social media are divided into two groups as usual. Some people say that this is just a publicity stunt by Dilip D’Souza, while some people suggest that D’Souza should have tagged BMC instead of tagging Sachin Tendulkar. It is important to mention here that as per the rules of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation i.e. BMC, construction work is allowed to continue from 6 am to 10 pm.
