The National Meteorological Service (SMN), this Friday through a publication in its official accounts, announced that this Friday the second heat wave began in the country.
According to the agency, this will last from May 3 to the 11th of the same month, where temperatures between 30 and 34°C will be recorded in a large part of CDMX. However, it is estimated that they can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius in some states of the Mexican Republic.

Given this, the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) recommends applying preventive measures to avoid fires in green areas within the urban area and, likewise, recommends that the population apply the following recommendations in order to avoid damage. to health:
- If you need to go out, use sunscreen.
- Wear light-colored clothing.
- Wear sunglasses, a hat and/or cap.
- Try not to expose yourself to the sun for prolonged periods of time.
- Avoid eating in public, as food decomposes quickly.
- Drink plenty of fluids.
- Pay attention to the people around you, especially babies, infants and older adults.

- Maximum temperatures above 45 °C: Michoacan, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Veracruz and Tabasco.
- Maximum temperatures of 40 to 45 °C: Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Morelos, Jalisco, Colima, Campeche and Yucatán.
- Maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 °C: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Zacatecas, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, State of Mexico (southwest), Puebla ( north and southwest) and Quintana Roo.
