Tricky fraudsters are increasingly trying to obtain sensitive data via telephone calls. You should urgently block these current numbers.
From alleged lawyers who want to intimidate with unannounced competitions, to alleged call center employees who threaten high costs: the scammers’ scams are diverse and inventive. The number of spam calls rose by 3.4 percent in April, according to the company Clever Dialer.
With its app (“cleverdialer.app”), Clever Dialer offers support in identifying these annoying and fraudulent calls and helps to ward them off. Every month, the company t-online reveals the five most reported spam numbers so that you as a user know which numbers you should block immediately.
“April was stressful for many of those affected,” says Clever Dialer. “The first two places in particular, which were dominated by our neighbors in the Netherlands in April, are characterized by persistent, persistent harassment.”
