Since February 1, Vladimir children and teenagers have a unique opportunity to get vaccinated against covid. Medical institutions in 33 regions received 720 doses of the Sputnik-M children’s vaccine. The dosage there is 5 times lower than in the ordinary Sputnik. And it is administered twice – the second dose 21 days after the first.
Before the injection, the child is examined by a pediatrician and collects an anamnesis. Of the contraindications to vaccination – colds and chronic diseases in the acute phase, as well as allergic reactions.
According to the chief doctor of the Suzdal regional hospital, Viktor Pustovoy, the vaccine is really effective and can prevent a severe course of covid. It is noted that there are practically no side effects after vaccination. The maximum is a slight increase in temperature and discomfort at the injection site.
Recall that children from 12 to 15 years old can be vaccinated only if accompanied by their parents or legal representatives. They will first have to write a formal consent to the vaccination.
