jpnn.comJAKARTA – Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, appreciates the attitude of the presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, Ganjar Pranowo, not to be included in the government cabinet of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka era.
“If it had been Mr. Ganjar’s choice, we would not have been able to stop it,” said the DPR RI Commission III legislator to the media crew, Tuesday (7/5).
Habiburokhman said that Indonesia is a democratic country which guarantees a person’s freedom to determine political attitudes.
From there, he said, Ganjar’s unwillingness to join the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet became the citizens’ right to convey statements.
“Of course this attitude is Mr. Ganjar’s right, yes, personally,” said Habiburokhman.
He said that Gerindra’s communication as the political party supporting Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election with Ganjar had no problems.
Habiburokhman said that Ganjar’s attitude of not being in the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet and choosing to be in the opposition did not represent any political communication.
“We are sure that whatever Mr. Ganjar’s choice is, his intention is to do what is best for the nation and state. Once again we respect Mr. Ganjar’s attitude,” he said.
Habiburokhman Gerindra respects Ganjar Pranowo’s attitude in choosing to be in opposition to the future Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.
