(24 News) In India, a person with a disability in both hands got a driving license easily, leaving the elders behind.
According to the details, 30-year-old Thansen from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, despite being disabled with both hands, is skilled in driving with his legs. Thansen was electrocuted at the age of 10, which caused both his hands up to the elbows. Had to be amputated but Thanson has not let his disability stop him and he does all his work well.
After the doctors declared Thansen fit, the Chennai administration issued him a 10-year driving license, on which Thansen said that he is very happy to drive and after getting the license, he is now free to go wherever he wants. Thanson, married and father of one, learned to drive after being inspired by a two-handed man from Indore who got his driving license in 2016.
After learning to drive, Thansen had a hard time getting a driving license but in 2013, when he heard about a woman with two hands from Kerala getting a driver’s license, he got her fitness certificate from doctors and Thus he was able to get a driving license.
