The statements of the President of the Nation continue to cause astonishment. His words hurt the Argentine people. “She was brilliant,” declared Javier Milei, referring to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. This lady governed Great Britain during the war in the Malvinas Islands. She ordered the sinking, in a disloyal act, of the Ara General Belgrano Cruiser, when it was outside the exclusion zone, established by the British Government itself, causing the death of more than 300 combatants. The words spoken by the head of state demonstrate her total absence of patriotism. Her statements are a verbal insult to the relatives of the deceased soldiers. Putting yourself in the other person’s shoes, that’s called empathy. A skill that you, Mr. Milei… seem not to have.
