To do this, local authorities as part of the implementation of the proximity approach advocated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and with the major concern of responding positively to the expectations and aspirations of citizens and of succeeding in supporting them in particular , in this exceptional circumstance have, since the first hours following the earthquake, reinforced their presence on the ground, in coordination with all the parties concerned. The aim is to lend a helping hand to the victims of the earthquake.
It is in this context that at the level of several douars falling within the commune of Lalla Aziza (Caïdat de Seksaoua), among others, “Tabiya” and “Tabradjout” the work of the commissions in charge of handling citizens’ grievances including, the houses were totally or partially demolished by the earthquake, as well as technical and topographical studies are continuing at a regular and sustained pace, under the supervision of local authorities, in order to be able to grant, as quickly as possible, the necessary authorizations. effectively launch this reconstruction operation in excellent conditions.
Not far from these two Douars, more precisely at the headquarters of the Caïdat of Seksaoua, all measures have been taken to guarantee fluidity in the processing of files and requests issued by people affected by the earthquake, facilitate the procedures in force and welcome applicants in better conditions and this, in application of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, illustrating, if necessary, the High Concern with which the Sovereign continues to surround the victims of this natural disaster.
Otherwise, local authorities spare no effort to make available to beneficiaries all aid and technical assistance, through the provision of model architectural plans respecting the intrinsic specificities of this area, in addition to the delivery of all forms of aid to the populations, among others, the first tranche of financial aid linked to reconstruction in the amount of 20,000 DH.
Approached by MAP on this occasion, several people concerned by the post-earthquake reconstruction operation expressed their joy and great satisfaction at being able to regularly benefit from monthly financial assistance in the amount of 2,500 DH and at having recently received the first tranche of direct financial aid of 20,000 DH intended for the reconstruction of their homes.
While praising, in passing, the exemplary mobilization and continued availability of local authorities to assist them and lend them a helping hand in this difficult circumstance, they expressed their deep gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the interest special attention granted by the Sovereign to this project of reconstruction of the areas affected by the earthquake, and to the improvement of the living conditions of the populations of these areas.
For his part, Mounir Arif, topography technician, gave a detailed overview of his mission as well as the work accomplished with all the other stakeholders (architect, laboratory, design office, etc.) in order to enable people affected by the earthquake to begin, under optimal conditions, the reconstruction of their houses totally or partially demolished by the earthquake.
In application of the High Royal Instructions, the government grants direct financial aid amounting to 140,000 dirhams for completely collapsed housing and 80,000 dirhams to cover the rehabilitation work on partially collapsed homes, it is recalled.
