Price uniformity reflects a policy of standardization in the cost of fuel used for heating, cooking and hot water in homes and businesses.
The main objective of this policy is to offer fair and accessible prices for all inhabitants of the metropolis, allowing better planning of household spending.
In addition, it seeks to avoid sudden fluctuations in the cost of gas that could affect the economy of citizens.
The CRE continues to monitor and regulate the LP gas prices to ensure that they remain at affordable levels, and is committed to adjusting these rates in response to changes in energy markets and national economic conditions.
