- Alta Verapaz, northwest of Alta Verapaz and Izabal: from May 27 to June 3.

Maximum temperatures in May 2024
The Monthly Maximum Temperature Forecast for May 2024 indicates that the Petén region and the northern Transversal Belt of the North will experience the highest temperatures, ranging between 38 and 42 degrees Celsius. This will affect departments such as Petén, northern Quiché, Alta Verapaz and Zacapa.
