Cordillera Festival 2024 poster: Fito Páez, Molotov and Hombres G in the line up

The Simón Bolívar Park will once again receive the September sun with the seal of Latin American sounds in all its global magnitude. The Cordillera Festival returns to celebrate its third edition on September 14 and 15, 2024 in the geographical heart of Bogotá. This year we will sing to the most impressive landscapes that the eye has ever seen, to the immense affection of the grandmother, to the friends, the partners, the little hands, the friends, the boys and girls.

The first call to experience the Cordillera Festival is to the South American Rockers, that brotherhood that in the last two years has been built around ours. A community that will be able to purchase the first tickets to the Festival at the best price.

A video welcoming Fito Páez was made public a few minutes ago on the Festival’s official Instagram, making him the first confirmed artist so far.

Within the reveal of the poster, the participation of artists such as Molotov, who was in the first edition of the festival in 2022, Maldita Vecindad, Jose Madero, Hombres G, Bacilos, Miranda!, Babasónico among others, was confirmed.

All of Latin America is invited to enjoy two days of rock, pop, cumbia, merengue, reggae, hip hop, electronica, boleros and ska. Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Spain, Venezuela, Uruguay, Jamaica and Cuba are some of the origins of the artists in the third edition of the Cordillera Festival. Instituto Mexicano del Sonido, Morodo & Okume Lions, La Vela Puerca, Los Mirlos, Simón Grossman, Zoe Gatusso, tú Señálemelo and Mi Amigo Invencible complete the Festival’s international lineup. For their part, La Derecha, Canalón de Timbiquí, La Severa Matacera, Los Yoryis, Providencia and Duplat complete the Colombian quota.

2024 is presented as the edition with the greatest female prominence in the history of the Festival with iconic bands from the continent starring women such as Juliana Gattas in Miranda!, living legends such as Omara Portuondo and Mala Rodríguez, national acts such as Canalón de Timbiquí and Lalo Cortés or the future of female pop like Juliana and Zoe Gatusso. It will also be an edition to celebrate great rock anthems in our language such as “Love after love”, “I love you” or “Frijolero” along with tropical cannonballs like “Visa for a dream”, “I send you flowers” ​​or “La Danza de los Mirlos” and high-edged cuts like “A mí”, “Pachuco” or “Mamichula”.

As part of its DNA, the Cordillera Festival returns with its commitment to sustainability led by the campaign that has reforested part of the Páramo de las Cuchillas in Cundinamarca in the last two editions: for each ticket purchase transaction the Festival will plant a tree in said wasteland with the help of the Al Verde Vivo Foundation.
