Foundation stone laying ceremony for the new National Cricket Academy – Ganguly’s participation

The National Cricket Academy of the Board of Cricket in India is currently functioning at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

A new National Cricket Academy is being set up in Bangalore on behalf of the Indian Cricket Board.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday. P.C.C.I. Chairman Saurav Ganguly and Secretary Jai Shah laid the foundation stone. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, Treasurer Arun Dumal, Joint Secretary Jayesh George and VVS Laxman were also present.

The new National Cricket Academy on 40 acres in the Devanahalli area will be completed within a year.

It is set up with three venues that can host domestic competitions. The land has been leased by the Cricket Board for 99 years.

Jai Shah said in his Twitter post that our aim is to create a special center to develop skills among young players and support the cricket environment in India.
