Simona Halperin, who has been holding the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Russian Federation for five months, commented on the move of famous personalities to Israel after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, including singer Alla Pugacheva.

The diplomat noted that Israel considers them as its citizens, as they have successfully adapted to the country.

“Unfortunately, I have not met Alla Pugacheva. I remember her songs, I won’t say from childhood, because I’m also not so young anymore,” the diplomat emphasized.

She also noted that those who arrived in Israel, including Pugacheva, Galkin, many famous artists and representatives of other fields, do not encounter problems.

“They are all Israelis in Israel, that is, they are integrated, sometimes they perform in concerts, in the theater. There is the Gesher Theater, which holds performances in Russian. So we are very glad that they have all quite successfully integrated into Israel,” – she concluded.

Previously, Galperin shared her comments about her summons to the Russian Foreign Ministry in February. We are talking about a situation where Moscow expressed its dissatisfaction due to the “unacceptable public statements” of an Israeli diplomat.

Kursor also reported that recently a denunciation was written against the leader of the DDT group, Yuri Shevchuk, because of his political statements.

In addition, the chief rabbi of the Russian Federation recently criticized the chief rabbi of Ukraine, calling his reasoning “madness.”
