jpnn.comJAKARTA – General Chair of the United Development Youth Front (F-PPP) Alki Sanagri said that the PPP’s failure to reach the parliamentary threshold of four percent was the bad history of the political party bearing the Kaaba symbol under the leadership of Muhamad Mardiono.
“The worst history for PPP was led by Muhamad Mardiono as Acting Chairman of PPP,” said Alki in his official statement, Wednesday (8/5).
He said the reason why PPP failed to cross the parliamentary threshold was because it was taken in by Mardiono’s promise, who said he was ready to sacrifice his wealth and life for the green political party.
“However, none of his promises were implemented, causing the PPP to fail to qualify for the 2024 elections,” said Alki.
He said Mardiono recently tried to sell the promise of passing the PPP through the Legislative General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) at the Constitutional Court (MK).
However, Alki said that the Constitutional Court’s decision regarding the lawsuit filed by PPP did not make Mardiono worthy of being the leader of party number 17 in the 2024 election.
After all, he said, Mardiono recently had problems causing a new commotion internally after preventing the PPP from passing parliament.
For example, said Alki, Mardiono deactivated the Chairman of the South Sumatra PPP DPW when the political party’s vote share in the same province increased significantly.
The United Development Youth Front (F-PPP) is urging the holding of a PPP Congress to replace Muhamad Mardiono’s leadership.
