BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Hyder Akbar Khan Rano, one of the organizers of the liberation war and advisor of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB).
In a condolence message on Saturday (May 11), BNP Secretary General said, I am deeply saddened by the news of Haider Akbar Khan Rano’s death, like his family.
Mirza Fakhrul said that Marxist theorist Haider Akbar Khan Rono was the general secretary of East Pakistan Students Union. He was a self-sacrificing and truly dedicated patriotic politician. As one of the organizers of the liberation war, he made an important contribution to the freedom of the motherland.
Haider Akbar Khan Rano’s passing away has created a deep void in the political arena, said BNP Secretary General, saying that he has been involved in politics since his student days and has been vocal against the arbitrariness of the autocracy. This virtuous politician has always fought for the liberation of the people.
The condolence also said that the death of a politician like him in this difficult time is undoubtedly a deep sorrow and pain. I pray for the forgiveness of his departed soul and offer my deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, well-wishers, devotees and well-wishers.
