This ceremony, to which more than 60 people were invited including representatives from various sectors such as banks, information technologies, construction, renewable energies and offshoring, was an opportunity for a wide exchange and making contact, in a friendly setting, with and between members of the Moroccan community established in Sweden.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Medrek highlighted the high concern with which HM King Mohammed VI surrounds Moroccans around the world, stressing that the objective of this meeting is to further facilitate contacts between members of the Moroccan community. , especially skills.

He wanted to highlight the patriotic values ​​of the members of the Moroccan community and their willingness to be “the best ambassadors” of their country.

The diplomat, in the same context, welcomed the contribution of Moroccan skills which constitute “the embodiment of the relationship that we aspire to have with this country”, adding that these operators can have a crucial role in contributing to the consolidation bilateral relations, on the political and diplomatic levels, in accordance with the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

“We are therefore all called upon, each in his own particular area, to make our contribution to strengthening our relations”, a role which does not only fall within the competence of the Embassy, ​​but of all, he said. insisted the Moroccan diplomat.

Mr. Medrek also stressed that the embassy services remain open and listen to the ideas and initiatives of all Moroccans residing in Sweden.

Brought together by the MAP, participants in this meeting welcomed the initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom which aims to facilitate exchanges and contacts between members of the Moroccan community established in this country, the aim being to be at the service of Morocco and to defend its interests, under the enlightened leadership of HM the King.

It should be remembered that the number of members of the Moroccan skills network in Sweden has more than tripled just a few months after its launch and that a steering committee has already been set up, mandated and actively engaged to support and achieve the objectives of the said network. network, plan and implement its priorities and missions for the months to come.
