The latest album by Cuban X Alfonso is among the 50 best of 2020, according to the selection provided each year by various American media grouped in National Public Radio (NPR).
Inside Vol. 1, the first phonogram under the FAC Music (Fábrica de Arte Cubano) label, was classified by critics as an excellent sample of contemporary Cuban music, with electronic and Afro-Cuban influences that give it an authentic touch.
X Alfonso, who claimed to be very happy with this recognition of his work, on several occasions he said that the album is an immersion in a world without limits that allows him to create sound sensations and images, building an entity of energy and feelings and a speech of your time.
In September 2019, the renowned Cuban musician released the first volume of his Inside project, after eight years without presenting a new album.
The material has nine themes, among which are “Change”, “Reflection”, “You cannot think like a prisoner”, “There is always a solution”, “They are not words, they are my footprints” and “It is only time to give.” love”.
INSIDE Vol. I-II is expected to be released on December 18, a double album of 18 songs that groups the 2 parts into which the project was divided.
