This portal, dedicated to Moroccans residing in the Kingdom or elsewhere, constitutes a “personal space of visibility, secure and free of charge for young artists, offering a presentation according to international standards of the world of Art”, indicated the association in a press release.

The mission of Laplateforme55.org, which aims to be an inclusive project for the community of emerging artists, is to provide young artists with a space where they can self-manage and promote their creations, thus boosting their visibility and artistic development, underlines the same source. .

“Laplateforme55.org aspires to become a central pivot for artistic development in Morocco and internationally. By building a space for exchange and discovery, we wish to strengthen connections between emerging artists, art enthusiasts and the global Moroccan community”, underlined Ilyass Alami Afilal, founding president of BASMA cited in the press release.

The new platform aims to be “a lever for emerging talents and a strong link between Moroccan and international artists residing in Morocco, while opening up to the Moroccan diaspora all over the world”, noted the text .

Completely accessible free of charge, this website, the first of its kind in Morocco, will permanently highlight the entire young plastic and visual arts scene on the web.

Each young artist will have a complete personal space to which they will have protected access to their data to enrich and modify it. The platform will also be fully accessible in English for greater international exposure.

This platform, noted the press release, will benefit from digital promotion for the general public, national and international, with a view to becoming a reference source for the discovery of new talents in contemporary art in Morocco.
