If you are also concerned about the environment while throwing your household electronic waste in the garbage, then you must know about the invention of Aakash Chaturvedi.
You must have seen bamboo brushes and combs. But have you ever seen eco-friendly headphones made of bamboo? If not, then meet industrial designer Akansh Chaturvedi who has created an eco-friendly bamboo headphone that is up to 70% biodegradable.
He had two reasons behind creating this headphone. The first reason was the concern about the electronic waste spreading in the environment and the second was to present our traditional bamboo art and artists in a new form. He wanted to make more everyday items from bamboo like baskets, toys and furniture.
With this thought in mind, Akansh started making the prototype of this bamboo headphone during his master’s studies. There were many problems in the beginning like protecting the bamboo from breakage or termite attack. But he eliminated all these problems with the help of modern means, he used a method to bend bamboo.
Took the help of screw so that it does not break.
The sustainable headphones they make are very light in weight and are designed to fit you easily. You can also resize it. People are liking this sustainable product which works like a normal plastic headphone and are also ordering it.
But due to its special design, its mass production is not so easy. Aakash is looking for bamboo artists and production units to bring it to the market.
If you know someone who is an expert in these things then you can help Aakash. you them contact here Do it.
