The Metropolitan Area of San Salvador and surrounding areas will have a probability (30% – 60%) of flooding which will slightly affect traffic and pedestrian traffic according to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
“Medium probability (30% – 60%) of urban flooding that slightly affects traffic and pedestrian crossing in the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador and surrounding areas, due to rain in the sector,” MARN reported.
In addition, the Environment Portfolio said that the National Hurricane Center monitors a possible area of cyclonic formation southwest of the coasts of Guatemala and El Salvador, which extends towards the southern coast of Mexico.
“At the moment, it has a 30% probability of development for the next 7 days. This condition could increase rains mainly in the coastal sector this Thursday and Friday,” said the Environment account.
