PSG fans had mixed reactions to Kylian Mbappé’s last game at Prinzenpark

Before the French superstar’s last appearance in the Prinzenpark in the league game against FC Toulouse, the Ultras unfurled a banner that read: “As a child of the Paris suburbs, you have become a PSG legend.”

The fans then hoisted an effigy of the 2018 world champion in his famous goal celebration pose and surrounded by golden laurel branches. Mbappé thanked the supporters, who then set off smoke bombs and chanted for the goalscorer.

However, the reactions were not entirely positive. Before the game, individual whistles were blown when it was announced that the world champion would be in the starting line-up.

His last home game for PSG was less successful. Despite a goal from the 25-year-old, PSG lost 3-1 to Toulouse.
