BOLZANO. The School for Social Professions «E. Lévinas” and the Social Services Company of Bolzano (“Assb”) have signed an agreement thanks to which the operators of residences for the elderly will be able to be trained directly within their workplaces.
The pact was signed on Thursday 9 May at the Don Bosco retirement residence in Bolzano. The agreement – informs a note – is among those envisaged for the co-planning and implementation of training and refresher activities for the staff in service in the social welfare structures of the Assb, specifically according to the kinesthetic method, which includes learning that allow us to work with users while respecting the motor and sensory system, paying particular attention to the fragility, resources and potential of these people.
The agreement was signed by the general director of the Assb Liliana Di Fede and the director of the Lévinas Professional School Alberto Conci. The provincial councilor for Italian education, Marco Galateosaid he was satisfied with the agreement reached: «all initiatives and projects aimed at implementing staff training and improving care conditions and therefore the quality of life of users of social welfare services are to be supported».
