jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts the weather in several provincial capital areas in Indonesia on Sunday (12/5).
Quoted from the BMKG website in Jakarta, some areas in the provincial capital will receive light intensity rain.
The areas that received rain this afternoon are Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Jambi, Samarinda, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Bandarlampung, Ambon, Mataram, Jayapura City, Manokwari, Mamuju, Makassar, Kendari, Padang and Medan.
Meanwhile, moderate rain is predicted for the city of Bandung, with a temperature of 19-27 degrees Celsius and humidity of 60-95.
BMKG warns the public to be alert for rain accompanied by lightning which has the potential to occur this afternoon in the areas of Banda Aceh, Pontianak, Banjarmasin and Palembang, as well as Mamuju City where rain accompanied by lightning is also predicted this evening.
Meanwhile, several areas are predicted to be cloudy, including Manado, Ternate and Palangkaraya.
The areas of Denpasar, Serang, Bengkulu, Central Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya and Kupang are predicted to be mostly cloudy.
Meanwhile, Tarakan City is predicted to be sunny with temperatures of 25-30 degrees Celsius.
