As Day.Az reports, Azerbaijani athlete Rashid Aliyev, who won a bronze medal in the all-around at the 29th Baku Open Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Championship among athletes in the age category “juniors” (category B – born in 2009-2010), told Trend on Thursday ).
“The competitions showed that I still need to work a lot, train more in order to demonstrate good results. And the competitors at the championship were strong. I hope I will show better results at the next competitions,” said the athlete representing the Specialized Children and Youth School of the Olympic gymnastics reserve
The young athlete also shared that he made many friends thanks to sports.
“I am very glad that I am doing gymnastics, and I hope that in the future I will reach great heights,” he added.
It should be noted that on May 9-10, the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku will host competitions of the 29th Baku Open Championship and the Baku Open Championship in men’s artistic gymnastics, the 8th Baku Open Championship and the Baku Open Championship in women’s artistic gymnastics. More than 50 athletes participating in various age categories participate in the competition.
