The Saudi Ambassador to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, confirmed today, Monday, the imminent launch of joint work programs with Holy Karbala in various fields.
The correspondent of the (INA) stated: “The Saudi ambassador to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, visited the Hussein shrine in Holy Karbala, and confirmed that the Kingdom and Iraq are seeking economic and political integration in all fields.”
He added, “The governor of Holy Karbala, Nassif Al-Khattabi, also met with the ambassador, and it was agreed to form a program and mutual visits aimed at finding real joint projects on the ground that serve the Iraqi street, provide job opportunities for young people, and supply the local market.”
He expressed his admiration for “the urban renaissance and infrastructure that characterize Holy Karbala, as it is an urban city and an example of modern and advanced cities.”
He added, “This is the first visit to the Holy Governorate of Karbala, during which many work plans will be agreed upon in the next stage, whether at the business level, the tribal level, or other fields.”
