Arat will be a full-fledged mass entertainer film. Mohanlal will play the role of Neyyattinkara Gopan in ‘Aratti’. The plot of the movie is about Gopan, a native of Neyyattinkara, arriving at a village in Palakkad with a specific purpose and the subsequent events. It will be an action-packed film with comedy.

The release of Arat was originally scheduled for October 14. But it was postponed as it was not decided whether to open theaters in the Kovid context.
