According to a statement issued by the State Election Commission (CEC), the local body elections for all the districts will be held in a single phase on February 19. The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission has asked the government to issue relevant orders to close liquor stores and liquor stores within a radius of 5 km near the above areas.
It has also ordered the closure of liquor stores and bars selling beer, wine and Indian-made liquor in polling stations, polling stations and areas within a radius of 5 km.
