Amazon launches Echo Buds, noise-canceling earphones and built-in Alexa

Amazon today announced the arrival in Italy of the Echo Buds, wireless earphones with active noise cancellation technology, wireless charging functionality, microphones for calls and voice control with Alexa. The new Echo Buds are available in black or ice white at an introductory price starting at € 79.99 instead of € 119.99. Customers can pre-order the new Echo Buds from today on the company portal. The earbuds are IPX4 certified and therefore tested to withstand splashes, sweat and light rain. Included in the package are four different sizes of ear plugs and two sizes of ear tips. Furthermore, during the configuration within the Alexa App, in the personalization section, it will be possible to carry out a test to verify that the chosen insert is the most correct one.

To activate Active Noise Cancellation, simply press and hold the headset. Ambient mode lets you hear what’s going on around, and can be activated by pressing and holding one of the earphones, or by saying “Alexa, turn on Ambient mode”. With the Ambient mode active, you can adjust the amount of ambient sound through the device settings in the Alexa App. Echo Buds offer up to five hours of music playback on one charge using Active Noise Cancellation and with Alexa access enabled. With the wireless charging case, you can get up to 15 hours of music playback. With a quick charge of 15 minutes you get up to two hours of music playback. They are available for pre-order from today and will be shipped to customers starting February 24th. Devices with a USB-C cable charging option are available at a promotional launch price of € 79.99, while the wireless charging option has an introductory price of € 99.99. Subsequently, Echo Buds will be available at a price of 119.99 euros, choosing the charging option via USB-C cable, or 139.99 euros with wireless charging.
