Afghanistan’s foreign ministry says the European Union has pledged $ 11 million to develop education in Afghanistan. Amir Khan made the remarks after talks between Taliban leaders and EU officials in Doha.
Taliban spokesmen discussed the issue with European delegates at a recent meeting in Doha, Qatar, on human rights, the rights of women and minorities, education, employment and the participation of all sections of government.

The Taliban said in a statement that it had discussed with European representatives the reopening of schools and universities in Afghanistan. Qama Press reports that Taliban representatives have assured the European Union of their commitment to the rights of all Afghans.
