‘No’ to Ruduraj:
Despite the Indian team winning the match, Ruduraj Kejriwal’s omission did not spark much controversy. He has been a part of the Indian team since the last South African series. However, not once was he given a chance on the XI team. In the 14th season of IPL, he has amassed 635 runs in 16 matches and topped the list of highest run scorers. Similarly, Vijay Sahare is in rough form, adding 603 runs in 5 innings including 4 centuries in the Trophy series.
Opportunity brightness:
Why not give the XI team another chance to do so well? As many are questioning. Ishant Kishan was given the opportunity to replace him in the first match. In which he did not sob better. He was dismissed for just 35 off 42 balls. Thus, Rudraj is forced to give a chance to Kejriwal in the second match. Cricket critics believe that Rudraj Kejriwal’s chances of a second match are bright.
Otherwise, Deepak Sahar could be replaced by Shardul Tagore. It is assumed that there will be no other major change in the team.
Proposed XI Team India:Ishan Kishan / Rudraj Kejriwal, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Bandh, Venkatesh Iyer, Deepak Sahar / Shardul Tagore, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hershel Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Yujvendra Sahal.
