Doha: Qatar Cultural Village is gearing up to host the 10th Halal Fest after the Arabian Horse Festival. The Halal Fest, which marks Qatar’s culture and heritage, will take place from February 21 to 26.
The six-day fest will take place in the southern part of the Qatar Cultural Village. The Halal Fest is held in Qatar from 9 am to 9 pm, attracting both locals and foreigners. It was canceled last season due to Kovid. When it reopens after a one-year hiatus, Kovid’s fears are far from over.
Sheep and sheep are the stars of the fest, which marks the old days of desert life. The aim of the fair, which has been celebrated for years, is to pass on the old life of the desert where sheep and camels were raised and the animal trade to the new generation.
In addition to participants from various centers in Qatar, groups from various GCC countries will also be present at the exhibition. The pet show is also a major attraction.
Through the Halal Qatar Festival, Qatar announced that breeders will be able to showcase and acquire the best livestock and sheep to improve livestock production and develop related industries. In addition to the display of various breeds of sheep, there will be a beauty contest for sheep and sheep called Almasina and an auction of sheep and sheep called Al Masad. Another attraction is the display of sheep of the Syrian and Arab breeds.
In previous years, there were also handicraft exhibitions and traditional food fairs.
