Shortly after midnight (Thursday to Friday), the bitter and difficult news reached the departure of the late Rebbe of Chakwa, after he became weaker and underwent emergency surgery at Laniado Hospital in Kiryat Sanz in Netanya and is in his ninety-fourth year.
His funeral procession began this morning at 8:30 in Kiryat Sanz in Netanya. The Rebbe of Sanz Shlita said Kaddish during the funeral procession of the late Rebbe of Chakwa. The Admor Rabbi Naftali Halberstam was born in the month of Tammuz 1868 to Rabbi Yaakov, the Admor of Chakawa, the son of Rabbi Sinai of Zemigrad and Idel Dina, the daughter of Rabbi Shalom Moskowitz of Shatz. From science.
During his life, the Rebbe published a book, Divrei Naftali, on the Torah and the festivals. Over the years, he has been appointed chairman of the Kashrut Committee of the Badatz of the Haredi community in Jerusalem, when all the rabbis of the Haredi community trusted him with their eyes closed on all kashrut issues.
All his life he worked on the Torah and on the work and spread Torah and Hasidism with real devotion. Many devotees would knock on the doors of his beit midrash in order to receive advice and blessings from him in the worship of the Blessed Name.
His name went before him as one of the righteous of the generation when his prayers were for nothing. Many would come to witness his holy work especially on the High Holidays and Sukkot days so he would spill out before Kono for long hours.
Over the past year, the Rebbe has become weaker and even turned to the various hospitals several times. He has recently been hospitalized again at Laniado Hospital in Kiryat Sanz, Netanya, where in recent days his left leg was amputated during emergency surgery.
His condition has known ups and downs over the last few days until in the last hour he returned his pure soul to its creator to sadness and heartbreak. The funeral procession that will take place tomorrow will be attended by thousands who will pay their last respects to one of the oldest and most righteous of the generation.
